Product Features:
Triple function: air release during the filling of the pipe system, air release under full operation and full working pressure, venting of air for vacuum breaking purposes.
Automatic air venting of the fluid in the main pipe and supply lines. In these type of valves the fluid flow activates the venting operation. Large venting orifice allows large volumes of air to be released on start-up and enter the pipe for vacuum breaking on shut down. Small venting orifice allows volumes of air to be released under the fluid pressure. Unique feature and internal components of plastic materials result in low weight, allowing easy assembly on lines.
Applications:
This type of valve could be used with sewage mediums at minimum pressure of 0.3 bars to a maximum temperature of 70° C.

Double Chamber - Double Orifice Triple Function AV
Product Description:
Double chamber, double orifice air valves combine both large orifice and small orifice functions within one unit. The large orifice allows air to be expelled from the system during the filling of a pipeline and admits air back into the system whenever sub-atmospheric pressure occurs. Air is vented from the system until water enters the valve and lifts the float against its seat, ensuring a tight seal. In the event of sub-atmospheric pressure in the system, the water level drops causing the float to fall from its seat and allows the admission of air.
During normal working of the water pipe line, the small orifice releases the air which accumulates under pressure. With the water pipe line in operation, the float is normally pressed against its seat. As air accumulates in the chamber, the water level subsides and consequently the float drops as well, releasing the air to escape through the small orifice. A subsequent rise in the water level returns the float to its seat.
