Product Features:
Body material is from cast iron (GGG) and wedge is fully covered by NBR or EPDM. Spindle material is stainless steel. valve is designed such a way that provide safe sealing. By turning the stem clockwise, with the elastic design of the sealing wedge gives absolute tightness with minimum torque.
Corrosion protection:
All casting parts are coated with epoxy powder RAL 5015 or 5005 by electrostatic method.
Application:
Mirab soft sealing gate valves are used for closing and opening fluid flow. The Gate valves soft sealing can be used for fluids up to 70°C such as drinking water and untreated water and also compressed air per Certificate DVGW-G260 (Other media on request). Application fields are water supplies, dams, water treatment, pumping stations, pipe lines, industries, power plants, waste water and irrigation.

This type of valves can be equipped by manual or electrical actuators. valves will be close when the stem turn in clockwise direction and it will be open with a counter clockwise rotation of stem.

Gate Valve,Knife type
Knife type gate valves are designed for top performance and a long maintenance free lifetime. They can be found in various industries. The stainless steel knife gate valve is a highly precise manufactured valve, designed for a tight closure of mainly mediums with a more heavy consistency. Its knife-like edge cuts through heavy or high viscous fluids. Knife edges are machine chamfered to reduce packing wear. The brass stem nut makes opening and closing the valve smooth and speedy, with low torque requirements. Knife gate valves can be mounted as “wafer type” between two pipe flanges. Because of its special design there is very little friction between the moveable parts and the body. The knife gate moves upwards and down wards through layers of packing without ever touching the body and thus never collects any heavy viscous fluids, pulverized material, and powders on the blade. Knife gate valves can tolerate heat expansion caused by the fluid temperature that passes through. Knife gate valves can be installed at the end of pipe line as a lug.
